What to Include in a Carton Machinery RFQ

A good request for quotation lets suppliers compare the same job. It also exposes missing requirements before equipment is ordered. Use this checklist for a full line or for one machine, and mark unknown items for discussion rather than guessing.

1. Product and material
State whether you produce corrugated board, printed blanks or finished cartons. Attach two or three representative drawings with dimensions, flute types, paper grades, board ply and print requirements. Include minimum and maximum sheet or blank sizes and the most common sizes.
2. Output and order pattern
Provide the desired shift output, shifts per day, order quantities and changeover frequency. A machine's listed design speed is useful, but your real order mix determines planned output. Explain whether you expect long repeat runs, frequent small jobs or a mix.
3. Site conditions
Share a floor plan with available footprint, material flow and access restrictions. Include known electrical supply and, where relevant, steam and compressed-air conditions. Ask the supplier to list utilities, installation scope and operator access needs for the proposed configuration.
4. Delivery and acceptance scope
Request a clear equipment list, layout drawing, included tooling, documentation and installation responsibilities. Define how sample output will be checked: board dimensions, print alignment, cutting accuracy or glued-joint quality, depending on the machine. Ask for exclusions in writing so proposals remain comparable.
Our catalog covers a corrugated board line, single facer, flexo printing and die cutting, slitter scorer and folder gluer. You can send this checklist and your drawings to [email protected] or use WhatsApp.
